Literary ecology is a product of the interaction and interdependence between literature and the environment, and as a part of cultural ecology, its various factors surrounding the existence and development of literature present a new situation with the aid of information technology. In this study, the study of literary ecology of German Romanticism is carried out, through the analysis of the ethical consciousness of literary ecology, combined with the characteristics of early German Romantic literature, the study of eco-ethical consciousness embodied in the works of German Romanticism. In order to further study the development of Romanticism under the assistance of information technology, this paper investigates the influence of information technology on the communication effect of Romanticism through regression analysis, and develops the influence on the communication of Romanticism based on audience analysis. Finally, based on the above research, the development and theoretical expansion of Romantic literature were analyzed using information technology. Under the assistance of information technology, the length of Internet use, cultural content exposure, and reading degree are all significantly positively correlated with the dissemination effect of Romantic literature, with the regression coefficients of 0.162, 0.215, and 0.220 respectively, and the P is less than 0.001, so that the length of Internet use, cultural content exposure, and reading degree positively affect the dissemination effect of Romantic literature. On the other hand, the regression coefficient values of expectation confirmation, perceived usefulness and satisfaction are 0.467, 0.405 as well as 0.339, which implies that expectation confirmation, perceived usefulness and satisfaction will have a significant positive relationship on the willingness to continue reading. This study examines the development and theoretical expansion of ecological consciousness in Romantic literature in the context of information for the development of Romantic literature.
