This paper establishes an evaluation index system for the effectiveness of online teaching of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities. Then the AHP method is used to study the weight of each evaluation index. The review found that the online education of ideological and political courses in universities is generally “strong” under the current situation. Based on this, this paper comprehensively evaluates college students’ ideological and political work. Educational institutions can then develop targeted improvement plans on a quantitative basis. The results of this paper lay a foundation for the implementation of precision teaching.
