This paper uses the 4C/ID model as a method to realize the transformation of the teaching model of animation film majors, so as to improve students’ learning level and artistic literacy. Firstly, the 4C/ID model and its teaching design steps are analyzed in depth, and the teaching model of animation film major based on the 4C/ID model is further constructed by combining data technology. In order to explore the specific teaching effect of the teaching mode of animation film specialty based on the 4C/ID model, the T-test method was used as the main research method, and the experimental study of teaching digital animation was carried out in C university. The combined P of digital learning and art literacy dimensions of the experimental class and the control class before the experiment was 0.227, which was higher than 0.05, while after the experiment all of the seven dimensions of art information literacy and art literacy performance showed significance (P<0.05), and the digital animation test scores of the experimental class reached 76.28, which was higher than the average value of the control class of 67.62. Further to analyze the experimental class students’ art literacy of the students in the experimental class was analyzed, and the p-values of ANOVA between students with different academic degrees and majors were all less than the 0.05 significance level.
