Research on Collaborative Educational Model of Integrating Labor Education into Ideological and Political Education in Colleges and Universities

Introduction

Labor education is the process of cultivating students’ labor spirit and practical ability, through participating in various labor practice activities, so that students can master the knowledge and skills related to practical experience in actual work, and cultivate students’ labor enthusiasm, labor habits and labor spirit [1-4]. The value of labor education is mainly embodied in the following aspects: firstly, labor education can cultivate students’ positive work attitude and professional ethics, and improve students’ work ability and creativity. Secondly, labor education can promote students’ physical and mental health development, enhance students’ physical fitness and immunity, and reduce students’ anxiety and depression [5-8]. Thirdly, labor education can promote the spirit of cooperation and teamwork among students, and improve their collaboration and communication skills. Finally, labor education can cultivate students’ spirit of hard work and perseverance, and improve students’ resilience and stress resistance [9-12]. And ideological and political education for college students is the process of cultivating college students’ correct worldview, outlook on life and values, through various forms of educational activities, so that students can set up the correct political direction and way of thinking, and enhance the identification and understanding of socialist core values [13-15].

In recent years, the practice and theoretical research of China’s education reform have gradually realized that labor education is an important part of students’ comprehensive quality education and one of the effective ways to cultivate students’ ideological and political education. The integration of labor education into ideological and political education is an innovative educational strategy, which is of great significance to the development of students’ ideological character, practical ability and social responsibility [16-19].

Literature [20] emphasized the importance of the integration of labor education and college civic and political education, and based on policy analysis and literature research, examined the real challenges and effective paths of the integration of the two. It is pointed out that the integration of the two cannot be separated from is the combination of online and offline education, the prosperity of the status of labor value education is strengthened, and the integration of the resources of civic and political education and other strategies. Literature [21] discussed the important role of labor education and said that the combination of labor education and Civic and political education is the demand of the development of the times, and the integration of the two is an important way to enhance the overall development of students’ morality, intelligence, physicality, aesthetics, and labor, as well as an important way to cultivate students’ labor skills, love of work and respect for work and other aspects. Literature [22] explored the significance of labor education and its integration with ideological and political education based on literature reading and comparative analysis, and put forward the path of labor education into ideological and political education. Through the integration of the teaching system, practice methods and other aspects, so as to realize the goal of synergistic development of the two. Literature [23] expresses the basic concepts of labor and ideological and political courses in colleges and universities, as well as the value connotation of the former’s integration into the latter. It also puts forward measures such as changing the concept of education and teaching in order to realize the integration of labor education and ideological education theories in order to improve the students’ labor quality in the light of the current situation of students’ work quality. Literature [24] reveals the mutual promotion of labor education and ideological education in colleges and universities, and emphasizes that strengthening the combination of the two in the context of new requirements, new opportunities and new challenges is an important path to strengthen the ideological work, improve the high quality of students’ labor, and cultivate qualified talents. Literature [25] discusses the connotation, meaning, characteristics and importance of labor education, points out that colleges and universities actively strengthen the integration of labor education and civic and political education is an important way to cultivate high-quality talents, and further analyzes the way of combining college students’ labor education and civic and political education. Literature [26] reveals the contempt for labor education in some schools, and discusses the practical significance and strategy of integrating labor education with ideological education in the new period, with a view to contributing to the development of labor education. Literature [27] mentioned the important position of Civic and political education and labor education in higher education. It shows that realizing the combination of labor education and the theory of Civic and political education in higher education requires strengthening the methodological innovation of Civic and political education, scientific evaluation, and realizing the long-term integration of labor education and Civic and political education. Literature [28], by highlighting the important role of civic and labor education, explains that integrating the essence of labor education into civic education is an important task in establishing moral education and strengthening labor education in the context of the new era. Literature [29] based on the study of Civics and labor education in landscape design courses under rural revitalization, aims to improve the teaching quality of the courses and the comprehensive quality of the students, so as to come out to cultivate high-quality talents in order to help rural revitalization. Literature [30] believes that labor education is an important way to improve students’ worldview and promote their healthy growth. It also describes the combination of labor education and ideological education from the aspects of system construction, form innovation and so on, so as to achieve the goal of talent cultivation. Literature [31] aims to elaborate the optimization of the path of Civic and Political Education based on the perspective of labor education. By analyzing the theory of labor education and civic and political education, the optimization strategy of combining labor education and civic and political education is proposed in combination with empirical research. The results show that hair, based on labor education of civic and political education is conducive to promoting the overall development of students.

This study explores the collaborative nurturing method for integrating labor education into ideological and political education in colleges and universities. Firstly, the content of labor education and the practical significance of integrating labor education into ideological and political education are analyzed in depth from the theoretical point of view. Then, a survey was conducted on X colleges and universities, and the dilemma of integrating labor education into ideological and political education in colleges and universities was divided into three aspects, including cognition, implementation and practice. Then based on this, combined with theoretical analysis and real needs, based on the ADDIE model to improve the labor education and ideological and political education provision, and put forward a collaborative parenting model based on the ADDIE model. Finally, this paper tests the effectiveness of the collaborative parenting model of labor education integrated into ideological and political education through teaching practice.

Exploration of the integration of labor education into ideological and political education

The course on ideological and political theory is a key course for implementing the fundamental task of establishing moral education. Since socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, higher demands have been placed on ideological and political education. In the process of the construction of ideological and political education, teachers should constantly explore all the resources in the classroom, school and society that have the functional attributes of ideological and political education and apply them in teaching activities, promote the combination of the ideological and political classroom and the social classroom, realize the close combination of theory and practice, national and world conditions, and constantly improve the educative and timely nature of ideological and political education courses to help students have a deeper understanding of socialism with Chinese characteristics and communism and enhance the four self-confidence. Communism aims to enhance self-confidence and train students to become new men of the times who will take on the great responsibility of national rejuvenation. Education has different functions at different times and under different circumstances, and labor education highlights the educational function of education. Labour education refers to the combination of labour and education by educators, the purposeful, planned and organized educational influence exerted on the educated, and the close integration of moral education, intellectual education, physical education and aesthetic education so as to realize the “five simultaneous educations”, give full play to its nurturing function, and promote the all-round development of students.

This study aims to explore the relationship between ideological and political education and labor education, to promote the joint development of labor education and ideology and politics, and to explore the synergistic parenting model of labor education integrated into ideological and political education. On the one hand, it promotes the comprehensive development of students’ moral, intellectual, physical, social, and aesthetic labor, and on the other hand, it promotes the high-quality development of ideological and political education.

Content of labor education

In order to improve the effectiveness of college students’ labor education, it is necessary to clarify the questions of “what to teach” and “what is the function”. This section mainly describes the main content and significance of students’ labor education, so that students fully understand the importance of labor education and promote its development.

“What kind of people to cultivate” is still a major issue to be considered in current education. The new era requires that students be cultivated into people with all-round development of morality, intelligence, physicality, aesthetics, and labor. Labor is the driving force for social development, and college students are the main force for realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Teaching them labor concepts, labor skills, labor habits, and labor spirit formed in the process of labor guides them to form a correct view of labor on the one hand, and enables them to externalize the concepts of labor in their actions to better serve others and society on the other.

The content of labor education is shown in Figure 1, and this paper outlines labor education into four aspects, namely, labor concept education, labor skill education, labor habit education and labor spirit education. Labor concept is the worker’s view and fundamental point of view on labor in general, which determines the judgment and choice of college students in the process of practice, and at the same time, the individual’s judgment and choice also reflects the individual’s values. Therefore, it is the responsibility and obligation of labor education in colleges and universities to help students establish a correct concept of labor, and it is also the inherent requirement of labor education for college students in the new era. The ultimate goal of education is to practice, and labor skills education is oriented to practical needs. Strengthening students’ labor skills training should be an important and indispensable part of labor education. Cultivating students’ good labor habits is one of the important goals of labor education in colleges and universities, and the education of labor habits can not be completed overnight, but in the process of long-term practice to be formed, so the labor habits have a strong plasticity. The spirit of labor is the spirit shown by the workers in the process of labor, and it is a reflection of the labor habit and emotion of the workers. College students are the main force of preparatory labor, but at present, there are still problems such as weak labor consciousness and lack of social responsibility among college students, so the education of labor spirit must be taken as a top priority.

The practical significance of the integration of labor education and ideological and political education

The integration of labor education and ideology and politics is shown in Figure 2, the talents needed in the new era should be more diversified and comprehensive, and the requirements for the overall quality of talents are getting higher and higher. Labor education is an important means to cultivate students’ practical ability and labor spirit, which is particularly important in the new era. Fully recognizing the importance of labor education is the first thing that schools at all stages should do to improve, and formulate and implement corresponding strategies to actively explore the implementation path and methods of labor education. Schools as the main position to cultivate students’ core values, labor education into ideological and political education is very practical significance and social value, through the cultivation of students’ labor spirit and practical ability, so as to cultivate more excellent talents with labor spirit and practical ability for the society.

From the point of view of necessity, the teaching of labor education in schools can be traced back to the New Democratic Revolution, and this approach has been continued to the present, in addition to the influence of the traditional concepts of history, labor education has been continuously strengthened, and since the convening of the 18th Party Congress, it is even more significant, and has become a tradition. Therefore, in today’s era, labor education in ideological and political teaching demands higher standards. From a practical point of view, China’s economy is at the forefront of the world, and although China’s labor-intensive economy occupies a large proportion, there is still a certain gap between it and the advanced countries in the world in the field of high-precision technology. Under such changes in the international situation, labor education is imperative, and there is a need to cultivate a higher level of laborers, more equipped with the ability to work hard, excel, and move forward with courage, in order to cope with more intense world competition. Specifically, in the new journey to build a modern socialist country in an all-round way, there is a need to train comprehensive and complex workers.

On the other hand, the integration of labor education and ideological and political education is an intrinsic requirement for the promotion of students’ comprehensive development. The comprehensive development of students is a comprehensive development involving various abilities of a person to adapt to social survival, and labor ability is the most important one. Labor creates value and can reflect the meaning of life and help individuals discover their own worth. Shaping students’ correct values and outlook on life, thus promoting students’ healthy and comprehensive development is the teaching goal of high school Civics and Political Science teaching, and we need to educate the concept of labor and the spirit of labor throughout the whole process of talent cultivation.

At the same time, the integration of labor education and ideological and political education is an inevitable requirement to enhance the effectiveness of the classroom inside and outside. Labor education, when integrated into the teaching of ideological and political courses, is an important tool to help students translate their inner thoughts into outer actions. Human labor is mainly divided into physical labor and mental labor, physical labor is a form of labor that must be used in the process of practice, so labor education can only really play its effectiveness in cultivating talents through practice. It can be seen that labor education in the teaching of high school ideological and political class is an organic combination of theory and practice, and it is also an important process in which theory acts on practice and practice acts back on theory.

The purpose of education is to cultivate the comprehensive development of human beings and to adapt to the needs of society, so it is necessary for education to play a role in social production practice, and only in this way can the value of education be emphasized.

From the feasibility point of view, the teaching of Civics and labor education has object consistency. The consistency is mainly reflected in the fact that they take young students as the main audience group, and are committed to cultivating the youth of the new era and equipping them with good qualities and abilities. Youth is the future of the motherland, the hope of the nation, young people are strong, then the country is strong, for ideological and political teachers, we should actively take measures to guide young students to grow up healthily, and mold young people to have the correct values of life. The integration of motion education in the teaching of ideological and political education can not only help students to improve their labor skills and labor ability, but also promote their all-round development and lay a solid foundation for their future career and social life. The focus of labor education and ideological and political education teaching is on the key group of high school students when it comes to educational targets. This consistency provides a broad space for synergistic development of both, making labor education naturally integrated into the teaching of ideological and political education courses, and jointly helping students’ comprehensive growth.

In addition, ideological and political education and labor education have a value fit, in terms of their respective goals, students’ civic awareness, ideological and moral literacy and sense of social responsibility are cultivated by the ideological and political education curriculum, while vocational literacy, innovation and practical ability are enhanced through the practical activities of labor education, all with the aim of shaping students into new-age talents with a sense of social responsibility and innovation. In terms of content, students are guided by ideological and political education to gain an in-depth understanding of a wide range of political, economic, cultural, social and other fields of knowledge, and through their studies, they are able to gain a deeper understanding of the value and significance of labor. Under the cultivation of labor education, they focus on the formation of labor skills, labor attitude and labor habits, and experience the labor process firsthand, so as to deepen their understanding and application of the knowledge learned in ideological and political education, and both of them constitute a content system for the comprehensive development of students in terms of content. In terms of teaching methods, students’ practicality and subjectivity are highlighted in both ideological and political education courses, as well as labor education.

Ideological and political education and labor education have the process of integration, labor education and ideological and political education are very important to people, the compulsory stage of the mind and body is not mature, the student stage begins to develop, is the golden period of life to grow up and become a success, to the society, the personality shaping, but also an important period of accumulating knowledge and improving the ability of political behavior. Both labor education and ideological and political education need to closely integrate classroom learning with extracurricular practice to ensure that the teaching effect is maximized. This interaction and integration inside and outside the classroom fully demonstrate the compatibility between labor education and high school ideological and political education in the process of practice. This compatibility not only provides the possibility of integrating labor education with ideological and political education, but also further emphasizes its necessity.

Synergistic model of educating people through labor education and ideological and political education
Problem Analysis of Labor Education and Ideological and Political Education

Accurately grasping the problems and causes of labor education in colleges and universities in the new era is the basic premise of integrating labor education into ideological and political education. Through the questionnaire survey method, the author used the 1~5 point scoring system to carry out questionnaire research on the students of X university, the higher the score indicates that the students agree more, after the statistical analysis of 554 valid questionnaires, to obtain the original data with both credibility and validity. The valid questionnaire data include 177 students in the first year of university, 188 students in the second year of university and 189 students in the third year of university. This is aimed at strengthening the foundation of this study and providing a realistic basis for enhancing and optimizing the collaborative education model of labor education that is integrated into ideological and political education.

The cognitive situation of the integration of labor education and ideological and political education in the three grades is shown in Figure 3. In the context of the new era, the importance of labor education is becoming more and more prominent, and in order to gain a deeper understanding of the basic cognitive situation of students’ knowledge of labor education, this paper conducts a survey on the basic cognitive situation of labor education. From the results of the survey, it can be seen that the evaluation scores of students’ basic cognition of labor education in the three grades of X college are 2.530, 2.440 and 2.529, which are at a good level. This indicates that most students have basic cognition of labor education and preliminary understanding of labor and labor education. However, most students tend to hold a questioning attitude towards the integration of labor education into ideological and political education. It means that there is a need to further cultivate high school students’ concept of labor, and there is an urgent need to further correct students’ prejudice against labor education and to further accumulate practical experience in labor. In order to ensure the effective integration of labor education in ideological and political education, it is necessary to place students in a central position and strengthen the cultivation of their labor concepts, labor emotions, labor will and labor habits.

Cognitive results

The implementation of labor education into ideological and political education is shown in Fig. 4. From the survey results, the implementation of labor education into ideological and political education is relatively good for second-year students, with the highest average score of 2.426, which is higher than that of freshmen and juniors by 0.221 and 0.251, respectively.However, as a whole, the average scores of the three grades in the implementation of labor education are lower than the median score of 2.5, which shows that the the implementation of labor education into ideological and political education is not satisfactory. Although labor education is mentioned in the classroom, it has not formed a complete teaching system, and it is only taught purely on the basis of textbooks, without deeper integration of labor education. In the process of integrating labor education into ideological and political education, although the importance of labor education has been realized and incorporated into ideological and political education in colleges and universities, its substantive integration is still insufficient.

Results of the investigation

The practice of labor education into ideological and political education is shown in Figure 5, the practice of labor education into ideological and political education in the three grades of college X is relatively poor, with the average scores of 1.975, 2.165, and 1.868, respectively.The data reveal the actual situation of the students’ practice of labor education, and most of the students can seldom be involved in the practice of labor education into ideological and political education, which is especially obvious among the freshmen and juniors. This situation is especially obvious among freshmen and juniors. X The practice of labor education practice into ideological and political education in colleges and universities is relatively single form and lacks substance. Although the university has made some progress in carrying out practical activities in labor education, its form and content still need to be deepened and optimized. In order to better promote the overall development of students, schools should work closely with families and society to explore more effective and diverse labor education practice strategies based on students’ real-life experiences.

On a comprehensive analysis, the integration of labor education into ideological and political education through the parenting model is not ideal. In order to assess the effect of labor education more realistically and comprehensively, the evaluation mechanism should be further refined and diversified. First of all, most of the students have initially been exposed to and understood labor education through a variety of ways, but they are still insufficient in establishing comprehensive labor values and enhancing labor awareness. Secondly, ideological and political education in colleges and universities has actively responded to the national policy orientation on strengthening labor education, has begun to realize the importance of labor education for students, and is trying to integrate this new concept into specific teaching practice. However, there is a certain superficiality, students are difficult to realize the combination of curriculum and practice, and the singularity of the form of practice restricts the deep integration of labor education at the same time as it has a certain negative impact on the interest and enthusiasm of students.

Optimization path of collaborative education model based on ADDIE model

This paper analyzes in-depth the problems in the integration of labor education into ideological and political education, combines the theoretical basis in order to find solutions to promote the comprehensive, balanced and in-depth development of labor education in colleges and universities into ideological and political education. And close to the actual experience of students, we strive to adjust and improve to integrate labor education into ideological and political education, which is a synergistic education.

Based on the ADDIE model of labor education and ideological and political education integration path research, first of all, we should clarify the classic theory and application value of the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model is shown in Figure 6, which includes methods such as goal setting, strategy application, and result evaluation. At this stage, the ADDIE model has become one of the classic models for curriculum design in the field of education and training, which is a closed-loop system focusing on the acquisition of practical skills and emotional experience as the main goal, and a curriculum development framework with a fixed logical structure.The ADDIE model consists of five phases, i.e., analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, and the developers of the training courses need to understand the knowledge domains that are closely related to these five steps. Knowledge areas. The ADDIE model is used as the overall structure and standardized procedure to clarify the operational methods for the integration of labor education and ideological and political education, and to construct an operational model for the integration of labor education and ideological and political education, which will provide a reference for how to carry out curriculum development. In this way, the ADDIE model constitutes a logical framework centered on curriculum design, supported by curriculum implementation, and oriented towards quality improvement.

Based on the research on the integration of labor education and ideological and political education as well as the practical investigation and analysis in this paper, a collaborative education model for the integration of labor education and ideological and political education is constructed by combining the ADDIE model. The collaborative education model is shown in Figure 7, which follows the steps of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation, develops the elements of labor education in the professional curriculum, sets up special mandatory labor education courses and labor education activities, and forms a three-dimensional curriculum system featuring “ideological and political education courses + labor courses + labor activities + platform resources”. And through the online teaching platform, collaborative education platform, we can strengthen the implementation and make it standardized, systematic, and scientific. In order to cultivate students’ values of respect for labor and love of labor, and to grow up to be strivers of the new era who take pride in hard work, honest labor and creative labor, and safeguard public interests and public values.

Analysis of the effectiveness of the collaborative education model

In order to further study the actual effectiveness and feasibility of the constructed collaborative nurturing model of labor education integrated into ideological and political education, this paper continues to take X university as an example, and selects three grade classes from freshman to junior year of X university as the research object to carry out teaching practice for a period of three months. And in the six aspects of practical skills, cognitive concepts, labor quality, ideology and morality, theoretical knowledge and student satisfaction and other aspects of the survey, the survey is conducted in the same way as above to quantify the 1~5 points, the higher the score means the more satisfied. The questionnaire in this paper obtained 175 valid questionnaires with both reliability and validity through the reliability and validity test.

The analysis of the effect of labor education into ideological and political education collaborative education model is shown in Table 1. From the table, it can be seen that the evaluation scores for practical skills, ideology, morality, and student satisfaction are high and located in the top three. From the standard deviation, the standard deviation of practical skills and student satisfaction is higher than 1, which indicates that there is a big difference between students in these two aspects, and there is a big difference between students in terms of their mastery and recognition of practical skills in the synergistic parenting model. On the whole, the collaborative parenting model constructed in this paper has good performance in six aspects, including practical skills, cognitive concepts, labor quality, ideological morality, theoretical knowledge and student satisfaction, and the mean values of the scores of each dimension are 3.87, 3.32, 3.51, 3.71, 3.23 and 3.65, respectively, all of which are higher than 3, which indicates that in the collaborative parenting model of labor education integrated into ideological and political education The actual level of students in all aspects of the actual level has reached a better level, which verifies the effect of this paper’s collaborative parenting model in the practical application, and can meet the needs of diversity, hierarchy and practicality of labor education into ideological and political education.

Conclusion

In the new era, both labor education and ideological and political education are indispensable components of the higher education personnel training system. The difference between the two in terms of status and role is the premise of their synergistic education, while the connection between the two in terms of objectives, contents and methods shows that their synergistic education is not only realistic and feasible, but also will further produce a superimposed effect. In this paper, the research on labor education and ideological and political education is carried out through theoretical and quantitative analysis combined with practical questionnaire survey, and a collaborative educator model based on the ADDIE model of labor education integrated into ideological and political education is constructed. The major findings of this paper are as follows:

It is found that the score of labor education into ideological and political education is 2.4~2.6 in cognition, the score of implementation is 2.1~2.5, and the score of practice is the worst, 1.8~2.2. The overall situation of labor education in ideological and political education is not satisfactory. Although students have a certain basic knowledge of labor education, the implementation and practice are obviously insufficient, hindering the integration of labor education and ideological and political education.

Aiming at the problems existing in the process of integrating labor education into ideological and political education, this paper constructs a collaborative parenting model based on the ADDIE model of integrating labor education into ideological and political education. Verified by teaching practice, the average values of the six collaborative parenting models constructed in this paper are 3.87, 3.32, 3.51, 3.71, 3.23 and 3.65, respectively, with good practical effects. The collaborative parenting model in this paper has certain application value and provides ideas for integrating labor education into ideological and political education.
