This paper categorizes the techniques of traditional culture in music composition into explicit and implicit use. By analyzing the temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of traditional Chinese music creation, an optimized algorithm for extracting temporal and spatial features of music creation is proposed. The model is used to analyze the temporal and spatial distribution status of music creation projects integrating traditional culture from 2017 to 2023 in Province A. Among the 31 musical NRMs in Province A, 17 of them were developed during the Republican period, which is the largest proportion of NRMs in all periods. The average recognition scores of the creators for “inheritance and protection of cultural heritage”, “education and inspiration”, “interaction and experience”, “source of creative inspiration,” and “technical support and innovation” of the music intangible cultural heritage museum were 4.20, 4.36, 4.15, 4.58 and 4.20, respectively. The years 2017 and 2021 are the peak years for music creation in the province, with the number of creations accounting for 34.62% of the seven-year total. In addition, music creation in the central and southern regions showed a decreasing trend, ranging from 6.25% to 16.58%. The kernel density estimation shows that the probability of music creation program division in the northern region of Province A is greater, about 61.36%.
