The packaging design course is an essential one for design majors in colleges and universities, and the importance of promoting its multidisciplinary integration is self-evident. This essay looks at why multidisciplinary integration is important as a starting point, what is taught in the packaging design course, and how to make a multidisciplinary cross-integrated packaging design course using the ADDIE model. The OBE idea is used to create an evaluation index system for cross-disciplinary packaging design courses. The entropy weight method is fixed by using the trapezoidal hierarchical analysis method to get the combination weights. Finally, a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model of the integration level of cross-disciplinary fusion packaging design courses is built. The students of packaging design in S and H cities were used as research subjects to fully evaluate the integration level of the multidisciplinary fusion packaging design course. The effects of teaching the multidisciplinary fusion packaging course were also looked at. The weight coefficient of teaching ability level in multidisciplinary fusion packaging design courses is 0.3427, and the comprehensive score of multidisciplinary fusion level in colleges and universities is 65.94 points, which is in the stage of barely fusion. After implementing multidisciplinary integration in the packaging design course, students can achieve the course objectives at a rate of 0.739. Multidisciplinary integration helps students to expand the teaching content of the packaging design course, improves the students’ professional ability related to packaging design, and strengthens the level of multidisciplinary integration teaching in colleges and universities.
