The embodiment of the Marxist view of the essence of law in the construction of the rule of law in contemporary China

The Marxian view of the essence of law is a guideline for promoting the construction of China’s rule of law. On the basis of recognizing the connotation of the Marxist view of the essence of law, this paper explores its influence on the construction of the rule of law in contemporary China from both theoretical and practical levels. It constructs an evaluation index system for the construction of the rule of law in contemporary China, and adopts the Lagrange multiplier method to realize the subjective-objective combination of the G1 method and the entropy power method to obtain the evaluation results of the construction of the rule of law in contemporary China. Then, from the dimension of people’s perception, combined with the ordered Logit regression method to analyze and dig out the people’s satisfaction with the rule of law construction in contemporary China. At the present stage, the overall development of the rule of law construction in China is good, and the trend of each indicator is consistent with its nature, and the score of the evaluation result is improved by 7.72%. The people’s perception of the rule of law construction shows a U-shaped change, and litigation experience positively affects the people’s perception of justice at the level of 0.1%, i.e., the people with litigation experience have a better evaluation of the rule of law construction, which maps out that China’s rule of law construction has a significant development in both judicial standardization and law enforcement fairness, and reveals the positive influence of the Marxist view of the nature of law on China’s rule of law construction.
