Human-computer interaction technology can effectively mobilize students’ enthusiasm for learning and provide new ideas for traditional second language teaching. Based on the human-computer interaction technology of virtual learning environment, this paper designs the virtual interactive teaching system from the three aspects of posture interaction, voice interaction and data interaction, which includes scene roaming function module, intelligent question and answer module and classroom testing module. Students’ second language writing ability after applying the new teaching method was analyzed by corpus linguistic analysis. It was found that the mean values of MAO and MSO of the experimental group were significantly smaller than those of the control group, and the proportion of all conjunctions used was significantly higher than that of the control group by 2.051%. The performance of grammatical similarity and syntactic complexity indexes of the experimental group is better than that of the control group as a whole, and the mean values of pre-, mid- and post-tests of lexical accuracy are 0.9375, 0.9717 and 0.9812, respectively, and the mean values of pre-, mid- and post-tests of syntactic accuracy are 0.4840, 0.6983 and 0.7718, respectively, which are on the trend of gradual improvement. Therefore, after applying the new approach to second language teaching, students’ performance in writing articulation, semantic diversity, syntactic complexity and writing accuracy improved.
