Construction and Model Application of Evaluation System of Business English Civic Education Based on Traditional Culture

Promoting the construction of Civics and Politics in Business English courses under traditional culture is of great practical significance for Business English majors to fully implement the goal of cultivating morality and nurturing people in the education and teaching of Business English majors, to carry Civics and Politics through the whole process of education and teaching of Business English majors, and to cultivate internationalized and complex talents with the view of the big picture in politics. Based on the CIPP evaluation model, the evaluation indexes of Business English Civic and Political Education, which incorporate traditional culture, have been selected to form the Business English Civic and Political Evaluation System. After that, the G1-CRITIC method combined with linear weighting method is applied to quantify the indicators, calculate the subjective and objective weights of the indicators and the comprehensive weights, and then introduce the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation theory to quantify the Business English Civics and Politics Education with the example of G school. It has been found that the quality score for Business English Civic and Political Education in this school is 72.0105, which is at the middle-high level, but still needs to be improved in some aspects. In summary, the evaluation index system of Business English Civic and Political Education that has been constructed is standardized in expression, scientific and specific, with reasonable weights, and can effectively provide new tools for the evaluation of the quality of Business English Civic and Political Education.
