Research on the Educational Function of Integrating Red Culture into the Path of Ideological and Political Education in Colleges and Universities Based on the Background of Big Data

From the perspective of the idea of “seven efforts”, this paper puts forward four red culture into the ideological and political education path in colleges and universities, and explores the ideological and political education function of integrating red culture, which is mainly embodied in the consciousness of integrity and self-discipline, and the comprehensive quality of the two aspects. Freshmen students of a key political and legal university in a province were selected as the object of this study, and the mixed methods of independent sample t-test and scale test were used to test the nurturing function of the path of ideological and political education by integrating red culture. After the intervention, the quantitative value of students’ consciousness of integrity and self-discipline in the experimental group and the control group is 3.41±0.26, 2.54±0.29 in turn, and the mean difference between them is 0.87 (3.41-2.54=0.87), while the corresponding significant value is 0.003, which satisfies the condition of P<0.05, and the same situation exists in the students’ comprehensive literacy, which indicates that in cultivating students’ consciousness of integrity and self-discipline and comprehensive literacy, the performance of ideological and political education integrating red culture is brighter than traditional ideological and political education.
