This paper stands on the perspective of Lingnan traditional cultural connotation, deeply interprets the characteristics of Lingnan traditional aesthetic elements, extracts and integrates the Lingnan cultural characteristics using HSV color space, grayscale covariance matrix, Fourier descriptor and Gaussian normalization algorithms respectively, and intuitively materializes the Lingnan cultural brand innovation design concept based on the fusion of characteristics through the AI technology to visually expand the brand visual expansion elements, brand visual expansion elements, brand materials, and brand cultural and creative derivatives to highlight the AI-driven Lingnan cultural and creative design, and explored the effect of AI-driven Lingnan cultural and creative design. The color distribution of Lingnan cultural and creative products is about 73% of the warm color system dominated by red, yellow and orange, and about 27% of the cold color system dominated by blue, purple and green. The evaluation scores of AI-driven Lingnan cultural and creative works design are significantly higher than those of the traditional method, and the mean difference between the two is 20, i.e., on the basis of the traditional method, the penetration of AI technology effectively improves the design level of users, and promotes the development of innovative design of Lingnan cultural brands.
