A Study on the Reshaping of Ideological and Political Education Teaching Models in Colleges and Universities by Digital Transformation

The digitalization of education is a strategic response to the digital economy and the universalization and lifelongization of education, and the wide application of digital technology has not only expanded its scope of influence, but also objectively reshaped the real environment and practice of ideological and political education. This study adheres to the problem-oriented approach and takes the needs and motivations for the development of digital transformation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities as the entry point to carry out the research. It explores the motivation of digital transformation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities from the economic and educational environments, and analyzes it in depth from the contextual motivation, triggering motivation, and enabling motivation in combination with the principle of the triple motivation factor. Based on this, a digital model of ideological and political education teaching in colleges and universities based on constructivism and cognitive load theory is proposed. Then the digital teaching model around this paper is put into practice, and it is verified from the perspective of quality cultivation and student adaptability of the digital transformation model. In the practical application, the average scores of each dimension of digital literacy and learning adaptability are above 3 points, which is a good level. Also for the gender difference, the overall average of the dimensions of digital literacy of male students is 3.563, which is slightly higher than that of female students. There is no significant difference between the scores of male students’ learning adaptability and female students’ learning adaptability, with the overall average level of 3.497 and 3.507, respectively. Based on the realistic dilemmas of the digital transformation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities and its motivating factors, this paper explores the optimization path of the digital transformation in a targeted way, with a view to effectively improving the effectiveness of ideological and political work in educating people.
