Village party building organizations play a central role in leading ecology, social governance and realizing common wealth. This paper introduces the theory of social and ecological interaction into the study, adopts the hierarchical analysis method, and establishes an assessment system for the modernization of village governance capacity, which reveals the degree of realization and the process of the modernization of governance capacity of seven key villages from two aspects. Correlation analysis was used to explore the correlation between party organization, ecology, and social governance capacity. The results show that the weakest scores for social and ecological governance capacity are 87.42 and 23.58 respectively in Village C. Between 2008 and 2023, the modernization process of social and ecological governance capacity has a significant “two-level jump”. Therefore, there is a convergence between social governance, ecological construction, and its modernization. There is a significant positive correlation between variables of party organization and modernization processes.
