This paper explores the application of artificial intelligence technology in news writing and editing in three parts, the first is to explore the users’ attitudes and perceptions of algorithmic news users, the second is to analyze the effect of algorithmic reconstruction, and the third is to carry out communication bias analysis. It was found that the participants’ aspects of the use of information applications based on algorithmic recommendations were characterized by high frequency, short time and randomness, and that the educational background affected the users’ attitudes and perceptions towards algorithmic news. In different experimental scenarios, elements such as temporal newness and novelty produce significant changes, and these value elements are sometimes strong and sometimes weak under the effect of algorithmic mediation and user preference, showing elasticity. Circle information, group affiliation, emotional infection, and self-worth identity are positively correlated with values at the level of environmental cognition, while stereotype threat and situational attribution are negatively correlated with values at the level of environmental cognition. Finally, according to the reconfiguration and ethical reflection on journalism by AI technology, corresponding coping strategies are proposed, so that AI technology can help the journalism industry realize a healthier development.
