With the in-depth promotion of information technology in all walks of life, the reform of information technology teaching in criminal technology courses is an inevitable trend in education and teaching. This paper analyzes the teaching development of fingerprint identification technology in criminal technology courses, as well as the development of the team of course teachers, and puts forward the intelligent teaching mode of criminal science and technology courses and the “dual-teacher” teaching cultivation path focusing on the comprehensive business ability respectively. The automatic three-dimensional modeling technology model is proposed, and the OBB envelope box algorithm based on the model vertex coordinates is used to generate a virtual simulation platform for practical training. The teaching design is based on the teaching characteristics of fingerprint identification in criminal technology courses. Utilize comparative tests to conduct performance testing of the OBB enveloping box algorithm. Design experimental class and control class to compare and analyze the effectiveness of fingerprint identification teaching method reform. And statistically analyze the informatization teaching ability of professional teachers in criminal technology courses. Comprehensive experimental results can be concluded that the mean value of the mastery of criminal technology teachers’ informatization teaching ability is greater than 4, and the overall level is very good. After the improvement of teaching ability training, more than 90% of the criminal technology teachers have skillful informatization teaching design ability and teaching implementation ability.
