Construction and empirical research of practical talent cultivation model for employment-oriented choral conducting courses in colleges and universities

Choral conducting course is a course that music students in colleges and universities must master. This paper investigates the implementation status of the choral conducting course in colleges and universities, and analyzes in depth the problems existing in the implementation of the current choral conducting course in colleges and universities. Taking the employment of choral conducting students as the guide, it puts forward the practical talent training strategy. Through the QFD model to explore the employer’s demand for choral conducting students’ ability and other aspects. Construct the quality house and related relationship matrix, convert the demand into specific quality characteristics, and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of the practical talent training strategy for choral conducting courses in colleges and universities proposed in this paper. After practice, the quality of practical talent cultivation of choral conducting majors is significantly improved, and the quality value interval of each evaluation index is improved from [6.4, 7.3] to [8.2, 8.9], and the quality improvement efficiency is greater than 1. It is fully demonstrated that the talent cultivation strategy proposed in this paper is of high quality, and it provides references to promote the cultivation of talents in choral conducting courses in colleges and universities and the employment of students.
