Research on the Innovation of Ideological and Political Education Methods for College Students under the Background of “Internet+”

The network data in the era of “Internet +” brings a new growth space for ideological and political education, and the combination of big data and network ideological and political education promotes the practice of network ideological and political education in colleges and universities to go deeper and deeper. This paper establishes an innovative application model of ideological and political education for college students in the context of big data analysis and early warning methods in the “Internet+” era. After normalizing the learning behavior data in the online learning platform, the XGBOOST algorithm is used to realize the prediction and analysis of the learning behavior of ideological and political education, and accurate educational intervention is carried out according to the prediction results. It is found that the prediction performance of this prediction model is much better than other comparative models, which supports the application in the innovative model of ideological and political education. Educational practice shows that students’ ideological and political education learning behavior in class (1) improved significantly after the implementation of the precise policy model, and the number of students with low motivation in class decreased from 12 to 2. Moreover, the grade of ideological and political education course in class (1) (86.52 points) was significantly higher than that of students in class (2) under the traditional education model (78.05 points), indicating that the implementation of the innovative education model has achieved significant results. The innovative method proposed in this study can improve the path of promoting the function of big data, fully utilize the function of network ideological and political education in colleges and universities, adapt to the development of the times, and constantly deliver talents to the country.
