Optimization Strategy of Piano Teaching Interaction Experience Based on Virtual Reality Technology

Virtual reality technology has been successfully used in medical training, military aircraft navigation, entertainment, and education. The main advantage of this technology is that it can create a perceptual and cognitive crossover between physical objects (e.g., instruments) and users. In this paper, based on virtual reality technology, a three-dimensional music performance environment is constructed to explore the target audience, source of interest, and other conditions of virtual reality piano to realize the interaction between the virtual interface and reality. Combining UNITY3D and LEAP MOTION technology, the virtual piano keyboard and hand model are built through the construction of hardware platform, and a playable VR virtual piano is designed. The effectiveness of the virtual piano application was evaluated through measurement experiments, which measured the dimensions of students’ finger dexterity and cognitive span. There was a gap in the span of each finger of the subjects, and the span of the right hand was slightly larger than that of the left hand, and the spans of R4 and L4 were 3.5, 6, and 9, and the spans of L4 were 3, 5.5, and 9, respectively, which showed that there was a necessity to measure the finger span. In the test of teaching effectiveness, the students in the experimental group thought that piano teaching had a promotion effect on “stimulating the potential of music learning” and “developing intelligence and training coordination ability”, and the number of students agreed with it was 40, which accounted for 100% of the total number of students.
