Process Development and Practical Research on Converter Smelting of Low-Phosphorus Clean Steel

The converter has the production capacity of smelting low phosphorus steel, but to produce ultra-low phosphorus clean steel, the converter dephosphorization process is still the main difficulty and research focus. This study analyzes the clean steel smelting process and the dephosphorization reaction law of the converter smelting process through the development of the converter smelting low-phosphorus clean steel process. On this basis, the influence of dephosphorization slag alkalinity, dephosphorization time, and half steel temperature on dephosphorization rate is analyzed to determine the parameters of the dephosphorization process in the early stage. And implement a comprehensive optimization operation system to enhance the dephosphorization process during converter smelting. Practical research can be obtained, the dephosphorization period temperature control in 1300 ~ 1330 ℃, dephosphorization rate is higher is also conducive to slag melting. When the slag alkalinity is 1.5~2.0, it can ensure high dephosphorization rate and slag melting effect. Dephosphorization period half steel carbon mass fraction of 3.1% ~ 3.5% can ensure the effect of dephosphorization in the early stage and the heat of the decarburization period. In the process of converter dephosphorization, when the bottom blowing flow rate is 1000m³/h, the steel dephosphorization rate is obviously higher and can reach about 60%. This study on the process development and practical research of converter smelting low phosphorus clean steel improves the efficiency of converter smelting low phosphorus clean steel, and is of great significance to realize the stable production of low phosphorus clean steel.
