In this paper, in order to investigate the influence factors of innovation and entrepreneurship in applied universities, the system dynamics method is applied to construct a system model and simulate the prediction in the software. In order to make a clear description, the complex system is firstly divided into several subsystems. Then the relationship matrix between the subsystems is derived based on the causal feedback relationship to connect the systems. After the construction is completed, the model is tested for correctness and validity to complete the simulation analysis. The results of the power model simulation show that improving the depth of participation in industry collaborative training can increase the expenditure of industry on cultivating entrepreneurial talents and improve the level of entrepreneurial talents. In the face of the general dilemma of insufficient funds, government financial expenditure is obviously an influential factor in the expenditure of entrepreneurial talent cultivation in colleges and universities and the expenditure of social entrepreneurial infrastructure, and financial investment at the national level for the cultivation of entrepreneurial talents is an effective solution. This study provides scientific support for the government, universities and industry to collaboratively promote the reform of university innovation and entrepreneurship education.
