How to effectively and fully utilize public space to meet the needs of multiple parties has become an important point that cannot be ignored in the current environmental art design. This paper explores the coordination mechanism of multi-party relationships in environmental art design using a game theory perspective as its starting point. This paper first introduces the components, categories, and specific concepts of coalition games, and then discusses the aesthetic creation and functional optimization of public spaces in environmental art design. Combining the principles of game theory and environmental art design, it uses the public space design of a neighborhood as an example to deeply analyze the most important game relationships in the design. Then, this paper establishes the game mechanism between developers and owners, and between owners and owners, by studying the game relationship between developers and owners. In the application practice of the game mechanism in this paper, the average summer wind speed of a community after optimization of the wind environment increased by 0.53 m/s compared with the pre-optimization period, and the average PMV value of a community after optimization of the outdoor environment in summer decreased by 0.23. It shows that under the guidance of this paper’s game mechanism, the multi-party relationship of a community has made a mutually beneficial choice of strategies in public space, which effectively promotes the optimization of the environment of the public space and improves the comfort of the residents. It is effective in promoting the environmental optimization of public space and improving the comfort of residents.
