Power Mechanism and Path of Deep Integration of Cultural Industry and Tourism Industry in the Era of Digital Economy

The organic integration of cultural industry and tourism industry can inject vitality to promote the transformation of economic structure and optimization of industrial structure. This paper analyzes the driving mechanism and path of the deep integration of tourism and culture industries in the digital economy era, taking Hunan Province, China as an example. Through the establishment of a comprehensive evaluation index system and a coupling coordination degree development model, the qualitative and quantitative research on the coupling coordination development level between tourism industry and cultural industry in 14 cities and states in Hunan Province is conducted. The results show that there is a close correlation between the cultural industry and tourism industry, and the interaction between the two constitutes the basis of integrated development, while the internal driving force including the pursuit of maximizing the benefits of enterprises and the external driving force such as the support of government policies jointly promote the integrated development of the two.During the period of 2013-2022, the comprehensive development level of the cultural industry and the tourism industry of all the municipalities (states) in Hunan Province have been continuously improved, and the development trend is relatively stable, but in general, the development speed of the cultural industry is slightly faster than that of the tourism industry, presenting a stage-by-stage development characteristic in time, while there is obvious spatial variability in geography. From the time dimension, the coupling and coordination between culture and tourism industries in each city has clearly solidified, and a certain degree of differentiation has appeared between cities. From the spatial dimension, the coupling coordination degree in the east-west direction and the north-south direction is characterized by the distribution of the middle high and the two ends low. The research in this paper is of great significance to the development of tourism economy and regional cultural heritage in the era of digital economy.
