Research on Data Science-based Digital Empowerment Path in the Integration of Civic and Political Education and Dual Innovation Education in Colleges and Universities

Strengthening the Civic and Political Education in colleges and universities is conducive to cultivating students’ correct outlook on life and values, and at the same time, it also provides spiritual power for students to forge ahead and cultivate the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship. In order to explore the different paths of the organic integration of the two and the different factors affecting the educational effect of the two, this paper designs and distributes questionnaires to the students of the School of Public Administration of a university in H province, and analyzes the influence of factors such as ability cultivation, governmental support, enterprise cooperation, university support, and value leadership on the innovation and entrepreneurship spirit and the level of civic and political education, respectively, by utilizing data science techniques such as chi-square test, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and logistic regression. The analysis results show that many of the above factors have a significant impact on the civic education and dual-venture spirit (p<0.05), in which value leading shows the most significant statistical significance in the logistic regression analysis, and the universities should strengthen the value guidance for students in the process of civic and dual-venture integration education.
