Augmented Reality in the Rhetoric and Symbolic Experience of Comic Book Images

The application of augmented reality technology on image narrative in comics will make comics more interactive and innovate the content expression of interactive comics. Image narrative, as an important expression in comics, conveys comic information, emotions and opinions through visual elements. This paper proposes to update the tracking registration algorithm and real-time light model of augmented reality technology to optimize the virtual combination and real-time interaction in dynamic interactive comics, and to innovate the application of rhetorical symbols of comics images. Aiming at the insufficiency of SURF feature detection algorithm, the tracking registration algorithm based on natural feature point finding in augmented reality system is proposed. Optimize the real-time light rendering technology in virtual scenes using particle system as well as pixel enhancement algorithm. Test the performance of the two improved algorithms and perform dynamic cloud image simulation for comics. Investigate the reading experience of comic book audience on augmented reality-based comics, and analyze the value of augmented reality technology for the application of image rhetorical symbols. The favorite score of dynamic interactive cartoon audience for augmented reality-based cartoons is 4.81, reflecting that the interactive presentation of cartoon images by augmented reality technology can give the audience a good reading experience and has a certain audience market.
